Baron & Filtenborg Capital Management was founded in 1997 as an independent investment management firm. Our management and research staff has a broad knowledge of the alternative investment industry and many years of experience in trading, researching and managing investments.

Our objectives are to preserve investor capital and to generate consistent, absolute returns under varying economic and market conditions. By structuring well-balanced investment portfolios we strive to service our clients’ needs in different economic cycles. Each portfolio has its own distinct return/risk characteristics. This allows investors to select the fund that best suits their individual requirements. Investments are mainly in the broad spectrum of non-traditional, alternative investment strategies of specialist investment managers.
